VIN VITOU is a B-Boy dancer and rapper from Phnom Penh. At age 13, he joined the breakdance organization “Tinytoones” and he worked there as a dance instructor from 2009 to 2013. He took a break from dancing to study information technology at Setec Institute but the time off from dance allowed him to practice song-writing and small stage and television performances of new pieces. After three years of self-improvement, VIN VITOU released some freestyle videos with self-written lyrics rapped over other artists’ beats, culminating in the “One take” video that spread on Facebook. He signed with KlapYaHandz after this success and hopes to follow his dream to keep the Khmer hip-hop culture alive.
